This is Ripe Rice Paper, perfect for Gongbi painting or certain Chinese calligraphy usages. There are several styles to choose from:
- Size: 134cm x 70cm (4 Feet)
- Style: Cicada Wing / Extra Thick / Pearly Mica
- Sheets: 100 sheets
- Mainly contains fiber from Pteroceltis tatarinowii (Qing Tan)
We keep the regular 4 feet size in case you would like to create larger artworks. For other sizes please check out the other options!
Cicada Wing （扎花蝉翼 / 扎花蝉衣）
- These are extra fine papers, however extremely sturdy! There are some very small mica shines on the surface.
Extra Thick （加厚矾宣）
- A preference for some artists, easier to mount!
Pearly Mica （珠光云母）
- Lovely pearly dots all over the paper, giving the painting a layer of pearly shine!
These paper selections are handmade from Jing Xian, the birth place of Xuan Rice Paper.
