This painting represents a very happy and playful mood, painted well in the spirit of the oriental brush art (Chinese painting and Sumie painting included) – we project ourselves in the painting itself, we are back to a happy time, perhaps in our youth, being curious about the world – the world is large around us, with so many possibilities and fun quests, we want to touch everything, smell everything and learn everything. The freehand oriental brush art has the ability to bring us to this mindset, which is one of the reasons why I love it so much! I often remember happy times during the painting, and I believe that you can sense it too!
The title writes “望”, meaning contemplate, gaze, written in the cursive Chinese calligraphy script.
