Thank you for joining our course: “Ink Serenity: Exploring the Poem ‘Longing‘ (相思) in Five Calligraphy Styles,” this is a unique journey into the serene and meditative world of Chinese calligraphy. This course is designed for both beginners and experienced calligraphers who wish to deepen their understanding of this ancient art form while exploring the emotional depth of Wang Wei’s timeless poem, “相思“ (Longing).

In this course, we will not only explore the technical aspects of five major Chinese calligraphy scripts but also delve into the emotional resonance of “相思,” a poem that beautifully captures the essence of longing and love.

Module 1: Introduction to Chinese Calligraphy and ‘相思’

Module 2: The Seal Script (篆書 – Zhuànshū)

Module 3: The Clerical Script (隶書 – Lìshū)

Module 4: The Regular Script (楷書 – Kǎishū)

Module 5: The Running Script (行書 – Xíngshū)
